Our staff has many years of experience in Alzheimer’s and dementia care and we provide continuity of care by having the same care partner’s care for the same residents daily. We place a premium on active listening and observing so we can adapt to each resident’s changing needs, this keeps each person at the center of our care planning, taking into account their unique qualities, abilities, interests, preferences and needs.

Our enrichment activity program is designed to provide “failure free” activities according to the ability of each resident. Our small homes enable our staff to create individual programs for each resident.

Five cottages provide home to 40 residents. We’ve taken great care in making our homes feel like “their home.” Each home has been newly decorated and features a cozy common area for social and life enrichment activities. Residents enjoy their own bedroom, many with private bath. Companion Suites are also available. We encourage decorating their new home with some familiar things-family photos, artwork or a favorite piece of furniture.

Adult Day Care helps seniors to continue living at home with their loved ones by providing a safe, supervised place during the day.  By ensuring every participant is in a nurturing environment, our program allows caregivers to work without the stress of having to worry about their family member.  Individuals in the program participate in cognitively stimulating activities to keep them as active and engaged as possible. Our program includes a variety of social and recreation opportunities, meals, transportation and bathing/grooming services. Open Monday-Friday 7am-7pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm.

Everyone needs a break. Respite care provides caregivers a temporary rest from caregiving, while the person with Alzheimer’s continues to receive care in a safe environment. Using respite services can support and strengthen your ability to be a caregiver. We offer the option for a stay overnight, for a few days or a few weeks. Overnight care allows caregivers to take an extended break or vacation while the person with dementia stays in a supervised, safe environment.
