Caring Environment

SFH offers assisted care, special care and dementia care for seniors who require assistance with 'activities of daily living'.

• Memory Care Program - The Memory Care facility is designed to meet the special needs of residents with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. The residence and surrounding gardens are secure to provide a safe environment and to prevent wandering. The 5,000-sq. ft. home serves 15 residents in a secure & safe environment. SFH provides trained caregivers to provide assistance w/all personal care and coordination of health care needs. Special features include a whirlpool bathtub, staff with dementia care training, and 24/7 caregivers on site to provide for all personal needs and supervision. SFH's Alzheimer/Dementia Care offers a residence specifically designed, developed and staffed for the care of individuals with these types of disease.
• Special Care Program - This program is designed for the older individual who may be more fail and/or have mild cognitive impairment. They need continuing assistance providing for personal needs and supervision. Currently, residents share a house with private bedrooms, shared bathrooms, and dining and common areas. A 24/7 caregiver is on site to provide for all personal needs.
• Assisted Care Program - this program is designed for the ambulatory older person who is independent but needs minimal assistance with the more difficult activities of daily living. Residents share a facility with private bedrooms and bathrooms, dining and common areas. Special features include a resident care director, intercom and emergency alert systems, and assistance with medications and bathing.
